This is one of our favourite games here at Planet Ecoroos, it is such a simple yet versatile game that helps children learn more about emotions.

The set has 24 wooden tiles with 12 different emotions. The tiles all feature raised and indented details and are different colours. It also includes a circle with the names of the emotions and colours

Your child will probably make the most out of it after 2 years old, but the game offers so many different variants to play with that there is no reason why a younger child may not benefit from it too.

Here's some suggested activities our lil Miss Roo has enjoyed with it! We do love games that evolve with the developmental stage of the child!

- stacking the tiles making towers

-talking about simple emotions such as happy and sad"

-learning colours and identifying colours by matching them

-counting tiles

-matching emotions with the tiles and the mood board

-identifying how she's feeling

-learning about more complex emotions

-memory game, turning all times face down and matching faces by turning only two at a time and remembering where the matching faces were

and we look forwards to seeing what else she'll come up with!

About PlanToys

We do love PlanToys here at ecoroos, from the material used, to the whole ethos of the company. It is the most sustainable toy manufacturer we know and the toys themselves are gorgeous.

The toys are made of natural rubber tree wood, but they are only cut to be transformed into a PlanToy when the rubber tree stops producing latex. Nothing is wasted in this company, the sawdust is mixed with organic pigments to create PlanWood very characteristic of the PlanToys. All the dyes are water-based and any glue used is the non-toxic certified e-zero formaldehyde free glue.

Not enough? Apart from that, the wood that can’t be used for toys goes into the biomass generator that combined with solar panels fuels the factory. Additionally Plan Toys really care about their employees and their community and they invest heavily on teaching children about sustainability, beause they are our future!
